     Well thanks to Fish Wilson flicking out YouTube links, that I unquestioningly follow, has lead me back to decades ago when the search for new music with depth and not pop plague was the way. Now most of what I hear at random on the radio makes me sad for the masses. They miss so much because of corporate radio. But I'll still dig into the meat, the flesh and blood of creativity. And yes, it's old music mostly now. But that's just fine. 

Dust it off. Bleed on.

Woolly Worms

I haven't seen one of these since I was a kid and lived back east. I know, it's just a woolly worm but I loved these guys as a kid. It was a sure sign of autumn besides the changing leaves, the shortening days, and the cool mornings.

We're bumbling, not them

The American Bumblebee has vanished from 8 states. 

    Yeah, it's something else to be considered and concerned about. This honestly freaked me out. We have lots of carpenter bees where we are. We really need to get a handle on things regardless of what the nay-sayers prattle on about. 

Halloween-ish

    Well October is underway and thinking of make-up past. I wish I could find some of what I did myself. I'm sure it's digitally buried somewhere. What were some of your favorite past Halloween costumes or make-up? This picture was actually from a class I took and the teacher did it.

    Tell you what. I'll look around and see what other Halloween pictures of mine I can find and I'll post them. 

    This was Audrey and I as characters from "Don't Starve". I wish I had the original. Maybe I'll find it later. It was a favorite for sure. I'm wishing I could find a few past ones where I did my own odd designs and maybe as I sift through all my FB detritus I'll find some more.

Waking up to something new

    Triops  are so wonderfully alien and prehistoric looking at the same time. That it's third eye is not much more than a light detector begs the question as to why it needs to sense light like that? 

    I have a lot more questions than the article informs about.

    Well, no. I can thrive on my own really but I need to make a change. So that's what I'm doing. I'm going to blog and video my way out of being stuck on FaceBorg all the time. And this is mine. We'll see how it goes.

    Edit: I'm still on FaceBorg but I'm treating myself better and not spending all my time there. I'm doing more for me IRL.
